EASA Examiner assessment of competence
Examiner assessment of competence is a procedure, when a person authorized by an aviation authority - senior flight examiner - supervises flight examiner's duties during practical exam (checkride). The aim of examiner assessment of competence is to assess the level of applicant's or flight examiner's competence and compare it to requirements outlined in Regulation No 1178/2011, Part FCL.
ICAO English examiner/rater certificate is not normally a part of EASA flight examiner's competence, nor a part of senior examiner's competence. However, our senior examiners provide this service in cooperation with Aero Language.
